Overview
Simplex Furniture sells lightweight, durable seating: resin and wood folding chairs for events and dining, and teak shower benches and stools. It sells to households and, in bulk, to event venues and businesses.
I designed and built the store on Shopify: a calm, earthy look that lets the furniture photography lead, collections for each product line, product pages built for buying in quantity, and a wholesale page with its own enquiry form and FAQs.

The challenge
Simplex sells to two very different buyers from the same catalogue: someone who needs four chairs for the dining room, and an event venue that needs three hundred. The store had to feel premium for one and make bulk buying simple for the other.
Simple products, premium feel
Folding chairs can look ordinary, so photography and layout had to make them feel considered.
Buying in quantity
The same chair sells in packs from 4 to 500, which product pages had to handle without confusion.
Retail and wholesale
Large orders need a conversation, not just a cart, so bulk buyers needed their own path.
Three product lines
Resin chairs, wood chairs and teak bathroom furniture each needed their own home.
Present simple furniture with a premium feel, make it easy to buy the right quantity, and give bulk buyers a direct route to the wholesale team.

What I did
A full-width slideshow gives each product line its own scene (resin folding chairs, teak shower benches and wood dining chairs) with a short description and a shop button.
Each product line has its own collection, and the all products page adds availability and price filters with clear product cards.
Pack sizes from 4 to 500 sit right under the price, next to add to cart, buy now and an ask-an-expert option.
Venues and businesses get a dedicated page with phone, email and support hours, a wholesale enquiry form and answers to common bulk-order questions.
Brand
An earthy, minimal palette that matches the furniture: walnut brown for the announcement bar and accents, near-black charcoal for type and the footer, and plenty of white around the photography, all in Bricolage Grotesque.
