This policy explains what information muhammadumaid.com collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. The site is run by Muhammad Umaid, a freelance web designer and developer based in Pakistan.
What I collect
- When you book a call. Booking runs through Cal.com. It asks for your name, email address, your website (optional) and what you need help with. Cal.com processes this under its own privacy policy and sends me the details so I can prepare for the call.
- When you contact me directly. If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to share.
- Technical data. Like most websites, the server records basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running properly.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of technical cookies set by the hosting provider and caching system to protect the site from bots and to load pages faster. These do not track you across other websites. If analytics is added in future, this policy will be updated to say so.
How I use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare for our call.
- To send proposals and carry out work you ask me to do.
- To keep the website secure and working.
I do not sell your information, and I do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else sees it
Your information is only shared with the services that make this site and my work possible: Cal.com (bookings), Google (calendar, Google Meet and email), WhatsApp (messages) and Hostinger (website hosting). Each has its own privacy policy.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and project details for as long as they are needed for our work together and for my business records, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Just email hello@muhammadumaid.com and I will respond within 30 days.
